Labour Day

Make this long weekend fun and easy while appreciating all the hard labour of those who put in the time to provide for themselves and their families.  This holiday was made official to recognize everyday workers' rights and advocate for safer working conditions in 1894.  The precious time and effort given truly make the world go 'round and are the foundation of our society.

This is the last official long weekend of summer and often marks the beginning of a new school year. Celebrate and give the hard workers in your life a pat on the back. Whether it's a quiet, restful weekend or getting into all the summer activities before it's too late, do what makes you feel good!
